Most likely it's a setting in the Options or Preferences area of the program. You should be able to access it from the File, Edit, View, etc..... menu at the top.

Can I have individual language settings for each windows XP profile?
I work in a Tae Kwon Do studio and the owner speaks limited English. The launguage on the computer is set to Korean. I'm the office manager and that makes things a little difficult. I'm trying to figure out how to change the settings to English but since everything is in Korean it's a tough job. I created a seperate windows ID for myself in hopes that it would load in English. As for installing such an OS on a computer which is %26quot;native%26quot; for the English version, I think you will run into much bigger problems than the understanding of the language (e.g. keyboard, DVD compatibility). Also the phrasing might be quite peculiar. I have done it for WinXP both in German and in French and, even though I speak perfectly both languages, I found it quite tiresome to work with. I understand your desire to be in a Japanese environment to push you to learn more but I think this is not the right way. You should go to Japanese sites (news, TV etc) and try to %26quot;swim%26quot; around.

The default language was Arabic, and i changed it to English. Everything was working fine until I added a password to my account. After restarting, I can't log in to the computer because my password was in english and the default language at login is Arabic. I'm incredibly frustrated with it, hope someone can suggest a quick fix. Is there some keyboard shortcut to cycle through languages BEFORE logging on to windows?How do i change the language of my password?

hello, my laptop is in some sort of foriegn language, i brought it off of a friends friend, it was only 50 pound so i thought it was a bargin. Well you got to the control panel. That's a good start. Next you want to go to the regional settings. That by default looks like a globe on a stand. Try hitting R when you get to the control panel... it may jump there.
Open that up, then it'll bring up a window. the 3rd tab is the Advanced settings tab. the first drop down box should be what you're looking for. Hi! I downloaded (as in I don't have an original CD that I can re run on my PC) Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP and the version is in French. I don't know how to change this, or where to download an English version of this program. I've been to the Microsoft page and I couldn't find a clear download link, and perhaps someone could point me towards a direct download link to download an English version for free. How do I change my Windows XP from Spanish back to English?
I live in Mexico, but my computer is from Canada. Windows used to be in English, but we had a guy come do some work on our internet connection and he was using the computer and changed everything to Spanish. I've tried changing it back by using the language option in the Control Panel, but although it is changed to United States English and the Spanish option was removed, everything is still in Spanish. I can't find another place where I can change it and I no longer have the Windows XP disc for the computer. The guy who changed it didn't use a disc (well, I wasn't watching him, but I'm pretty sure he didn't completely reinstall Windows) so there must be some way to change it back! I have googled this a number of times, but can only find the option in the control panel as a way of changing it back. See if you can download the language packs from Microsoft and reinstall them. It may fix the issue of changing the language back to English, because you may be right about everything not being installed. I would ask did you click OK or apply? They do different things. Does anyone really reads the question. To translate your WINXP from english to any other language try looking for Winxp(language you need) then patch. There are patches for lots of languages but I'm not sure if there is one for chinese. Good luck anyway.
Do this:
1) go to your control panel
2) double click on %26quot;Regional and Languages Options%26quot;
3) click the %26quot;Languages%26quot; tab at thet op
4) check the box saying %26quot;Install files for East Asian Languages%26quot;
5) Click on Apply to install (need your windows cd)
6) Once installed, click on the %26quot;Details...%26quot; button on the same screen
7) Click on the %26quot;Add%26quot; button and you will be able to select Chinese languages to add and this will enable you to write in Chinese.

One of the kids has changed the language settings to arabic and changed it back to english but there's still some programs in arabic. I installed a printer and the installation came up in arabic. Preference would be to punish the kid and have him go and undo what he's actually done???
I have vista but I still believe that you will find your printer program in your control panel. You'll have to manually change it as the kid did. You may also be able to create a restore point which will default the entire computer back to a certain date but you would have to know what date it was done and risk losing all info that occurred/stored after that point. (last resort)

Ok I needed vietnamese font for a software I was running so I downloaded Windows Language Interface pack for Vietnamese. Atleast I think that what it was. Hi, for Windows XP you can install language packs on top of English XP, but you cannot install English on top of international XP versions. They changed it for Vista so that you can do what you want, but not XP.

Okay, here's the situation. A little while ago i was infected with a virus so badly that the only option to resolve the problem was to reinstall the operating system. I ordered the software retrieving software from Acer (who made my laptop) and used it and luckily it worked. But after i did this my computer switched from English to Spanish. I have tried installing another version of XP in English, but then the system ignores all my other parts, like the built in wireless receiver, audio and video cards, and USB ports, so I went back to Spanish. I tried working with the language options but to no avail, and every time I change the language bar to English, nothing happens, the text still stays in Spanish. Don't suggest the initial virus is doing this, because I know that I cleared that out, and don't suggest I just learn Spanish. In short; PLEASE HELP ME!!! Okay, try this:
First the Start menu icon - a window.
Next could be Settings which is a yellow cog with a rod through it and something white and squarish behind it.
Then the Control Panel icon will be either a couple of tools on a folder OR a notepad with a border around it and a tick on it, plus a pencil.
Next an earth for Regional and Language Options.
The second tab across should be the Language tab - possibly something like Idioma.
The first click box should be the Details button and will bring up a new window.
In the new window, use the drop-down arrow to look for Ingl茅s which is Spanish for English.
The left button at the bottom is probably the OK button.
That takes you back to the first box which also needs OK clicking.
After this, hopefully you are back in English and can check whether English is set as the default. It's vaguely possible that you will have to restart your computer and/or use your Windows CD.
Words that might be useful that I got using a translator (might be right, might be wrong, but hopefully they will be a guide at least):
Ingl茅s = English
